Our history

A Thai restaurant has opened in the village of Holmesfield, and is doing sensational business in what used to be The Travellers Rest pub.

Keng Wragg has created one of the best Thai restaurants and is renowned for its outstanding cuisine.

The menu encompasses a wide range of well-prepared, enjoyable Thai dishes, some hot and very fiery, others soothingly milder and gentler.

About The Owner

Keng Wragg

Keng grew up in a small village on the famous river kwai, where her father was a doctor and farmer. As a child, she helped her mother sell noodles from a small stall. Working on the farm, she earned money towards her elder sister’s education. Having saved a little money, Keng opened a shop selling a wide range of goods.

Whist running this business, Keng paid her way through college with glowing distinctions. After learning the restaurant trade, Keng opened Thai at the travellers back in 2002.
